The 10th edition of Grenaches of the World was held in Olite (Navarra) at the beginning of May. The Gandesa Cooperative received three medals for its wines: two gold and one silver. The award-winning wines were Ranci Puresa, Mistela Blanca Somdinou and Young White Wine Somdinou, respectively.

In the international competition, nearly 900 wines were evaluated by a panel of eighty experts from 12 different nationalities. The Catalan wines have received a total of 79 medals, 23 of which went to the wines of the cooperative wineries. Specifically, agricultural cooperatives have received 17 gold and 6 silver medals. The award-winning wines belong to the DO Terra Alta (15), Montsant (4), Empordà (3) and Catalunya (1).

These results consolidate, once again, the high quality of the wines of our cooperatives and highlight the great importance of this grape variety, very present in the production of their wines.
